Acid Reflux GERD: Using food to Get Rid of It
Acid GERD is the cause of a lot of stress and sleepless nights for people. I know because I used to suffer from it. However, you need to know that getting rid of Acid GERD is not as hard as it may look. In order to get GERD free, you just need to remember a few points.
First, you need to understand the basics on how the digestive system works so that you know why you are having the trouble you are having. To keep things simple, you need to remember that there are two basic types of enzymes used by the digestive system to digest your food: alkaline and acid enzymes. In order to avoid Acid GERD, you just need to remember to eat combination of foods that don’t require both enzymes since they tend to neutralize each other.
To keep things simple imagine that there are three basic types of foods. The first type is the one formed by foods that require very little effort to be processed. These foods go through the system fairly rapid. The second type of foods require alkaline enzymes and take a longer time to process. The third type of foods require potent acid enzymes.
In order to get rid of Acid GERD, you just need to remember that you can combine number one with either type two or type three. However, you should never combine types two and three.
By doing so, you will not only get rid of acid reflux GERD but you will also loose weight because food will be better digested and the body will flush toxins quickly.
In addition, by combining food properly, you should feel more energy because the food is digested quicker and using a lot less energy. By saving energy on the digestion, your body can use that energy in other functions. Also, you should feel lighter since the food doesn’t stay that long in your body.
